Dragon Medical Roaming Profiles

We just started using Dragon's roaming profile feature with not much luck at all.  We have Win7 workstations and believe it may be user rights issue but can't be sure.  When one of the doctors goes to open their profile Dragon says that directory is not available, so we have to disconnect from the network then login again and then choose the local profile.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Krista

There are several reasons for this, but it's possible that the 'roaming path' is corrupted.  Try renaming the folder and revising the path in the roaming panel.  If that doesn't resolve post with the specific error message, we should be able to track it down.

KRista,

If you haven't gotten resolution to this problem -give me a call. (tell my staff I told you it was okay to call). We've been implementing Dragon for over 10 years and we'll help you sort that out. I believe you're on the right track with permissions. The Dragon users will need read, write, and modify rights the the roaming user location file(s).
